    The 7th edition of iPhone

People spending ₹70000 for iPhone shows

    1. People have got lot of money to spend

    2. People have got tremendous low iq

    3. Both 1 and 2 points are correct.

IPhone is quite good phone but no matter what fanboys say or believe, spending so much on one fragile piece of hardware that gets obsolete in 1.5 years is totally unwarranted for.

For less then half the price we get an awesome oneplus 3 and for 1/10th of price we get xiaomi android phones that provide quite usable functionality –  and a fm radio too that iPhone still does not have, a dual Sim facility that iPhone users can dream of, expandable memory that iPhone will probably never have.

Whatever. Burn your money the way you want to 😉

Google unveils Chrome, the browser (spyware) we were waiting for

Google finally unveiled Chrome, the beta edition of its web browser. Long ago, Google has predicted – ‘The browser is the platform’, keeping it in mind, it released Gogle Gears, now the Chrome. The tab button stikingly resembeles like he Yahoo toolbar, did anyone note that?? Of course, the Yahoo toolbar adds the tab functionality to older IE editions. Cold this be the next big application that will spy on people from now? I remember writing a link on how Google has exploited privacy and security of users..Wow…Is this the biggest spyware we have ever seen?? A note to Paranoids – I cant say for gurantee that Google Chrome is the official spying tool released by Google, but given its past and privacy pundits worried over Google tracking its users habits, trends etc…but in that case, I can safely say – Orkut is the biggest spyware. Enter Orkut, and you will find all fizzy stuff ranging from click trackers, url trackers, content crawlers, etc.

I suggest – take a break..Stay away from the web for some time, maintain a random click pattern that will make Google;s life difficult. 😉 Install this wonderful tool, Tor

    Q. What is Tor?

    A. Tor is a software project that helps you defend against traffic analysis, a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security. Tor protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, and it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location. Tor works with many of your existing applications, including web browsers, instant messaging clients, remote login, and other applications based on the TCP protocol.

Good luck. However, I am amazed how well this wannabe Google Spyware has found its way in news, media, blogs..did this thing really needed so much attention?? Mozilla’s doing a fine job against Microsoft, the browser war isent the same one it was in 1997…Joke..! Like Apple iPhone, Google Chrome has lived its hype, and I think its one of the most successful webmedia marketting campaign we have seen recently., after the dramatic Apple iPhone..

2 years ago, I remember downloading an IE based slim browser, it was called Browzar. The site’s still alive, except that it didnt get a grand attention Chrome’s getting.. I think it hasent come out of its beta stage even after 2 years later I downloaded it. Browzar claims to be a paranoid web surfers friend..but as its based on IE, I wont assume anything..Wow, the date matches exactly…Take a look @ this article I had written lonng time back describing Browzar.;)

Psst..want to see Chrome crashing?? Try this link… 😉

Run as far away from a Google binary as you can!!! Google is in the business of intelligence gathering and putting their software on your computer is utter suicide for your privacy and security.

I tried running the Chrome installer. It only got as far as telling me it wasn’t suitable for my system (Windows 2000), but it had already installed a hidden “updater” program (i.e. spyware) in the Local Settings folder, set to be run every reboot (and stay resident). I discovered it when the firewall trapped it trying to phone home, and removed it with HijackThis.

This browser is seriously bad news – avoid!

There is a struggle for freedom of all kinds – from basic civil liberties to freedom of information and knowledge – Google profits on keeping certain sections of Open Source software thriving, – such as some of the various platforms that allow social networking, then they keep the rest extremely closed in a manner resonant with other totalitarian cyberspace empires, like Fakebook and Microsoft.

Some say that Stallman is an extremist, but freedom requires principles. Those principles are broken by Google all the time and more and more information and potential knowledge are controlled by over-sized corporations that increasingly are under conventional market pressures – and therefore might sell all their user behaviour data anytime that the shareholders should remain unsatisfied with the profit maximisation rates.

It is Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Pfizer et al who are the extremists – the rest of us are merely people trying to share and cooperate, but they won’t let us. It is a matter of principle!

You need to stop complaining and report this UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR to the FCC, FTC, your state senators, etc.

Google is just exploiting the pandora box APPLE has opened with installation of software on user devices (now you PC is just a DEVICE now) with full centralized server control on your computer.

PUT A STOP TO THIS NOW BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE.

Here is whats going to happen:

MICROSOFT will see Chrome as a threat (google opened the door with saying its now a OS) and MS will look for the legal right to put its with “Kill Switch” just like APPLE has done with the iPHONE to kill applications they feel is a threat or not part of their strategy.

Big Brother Google is spying everyone is using their luring “free” services and “products” – free as “give us your freedom and all your computer content” cause our “professionals” will take care of that and all aspects of your future life, we will OWN YOU and your thoughts, intentions, startups ans so on – !

The next scamming scheme is being forged right now, the big scam of all scams named Chrome OS, which is nothing more than an interface to connect on their proprietary servers where you should put all your computer content like a naive, in their hands, so voila, total control is here ! Google totally sucks, is just a spyware company and as alternative you internet users can think at duckduckgo.com, ixquick.com, scroogle.com or startingpage.com ALL of them don’t record any IP’s or searches of their users. The last two are just google searches without the spying. Use adblock to block their google analytics and other junks as well as some cookie manager addon for firefox and don’t forget to enter about:config and erase everything that has google in it and geo, for geolocation.
What you have to do to escape the spyware these corporations throwed all o ver the web in an attempt to spy and controll everyone. Don’t be a fool, you don’t need any google to use the internet !

Get an Apple iPhone for free

Theres a strange aura about Apple iPhone, theres so much to write about it, people outside America are madly waiting to lay their hands on this wonderful amalgamation between a Apple Macintosh + mobil phone + iPod + PDA + fragile design + hype.

How about winning this incredible device for free without answering freaky questions, without solving ridiculous puzzles, without stealing, or dropping dead? A comparatively new, lesser known web 2.0 review company-Rev2 is giving away iPhones for free, over here. Hard to believe, but theres no reason why one shouldent try to win this thing, after all, its the iPhone, the real iPhone we all non Americans, Asians have been waiting for.

Apple definately must be happy seeing the way iPhones were sold out however there were some reports of slow activation, delayed starts, non replacable SIM cards by AT&T, but thats all, apart from this there hasent been any major hassle of any sort.

Many people are curious to know when the Apple iPhone is to be launched in India/Asia, I think Apple should try coming here early, else this market will be captured by Treo, Nokia N series, Motorola, and Sony Erricson multemedia devices.

Umm…the future looks awesome, hope for some more goddy. Dont forget this cool site giving an Apple iPhone for free. Rev2.org indeed is having lots of guts, and mind you, theres no big sites thats offering this scheme as of now. Good luck.

Apple iPhone – The evening after in India and rest of Asia

Apple iPhone is todays equivalent example of Sony Walkman of yesterday. Theres no path breaking features that it offers, but apparantly, its PDA and smartphone capabilities(alongwith very good marketting) can help Apple to reach a wide customer base and also it will give comman non technical consumers the chance to learn the Apple way of design and operation. As it is many people just drool over the lean mean Mac, its time to have one in pocket and let the world drool. I would personally take it as a PDA device with the capacities of the Mac OS. Now-a-days many PDA have a crossover as a mobile device and a PDA or a portable handheld. It would have been much better had Mr Jobs introduced it as a iPod+PDA and not a smartphone+PDA..

As far as Indian market is concerned, I think that people will literally do anything to get this fabulous PDA. Reasons of it not used as a smartphone are

    1. India dosent have an EDGE capable network as of 11 jan 07.(If theres any, please market yourself more guys. I think former BPL had this, but not clear about it) GPRS is present, but the operators charge it like hell, and a its an example of a paradox that BSNL broadband is much cheaper and affordable then the GPRS provided by blokes like Airtel, Hutch, !dea and the CDMA players like Reliance and Tata Indicom.

    2. 3G is absent. My motorazr can take a 2.5G and 3G, but as of now, I dont think that any provider has this facility.

    3. Nokia already dominates the hi-end market in India, but it never markets its any smartphone as a PDA. Nor does it offer any features as compared to the iPhone, although their N-series has got some serious multimedia features. Theres pretty tough competition for survival.

The asian market is full of varied diversities. Japan has got its own NTT DoCoMo, India has got WLL, CDMA, GSM, and all are incompaitable with each other. I hope that by the time iPhone reaches Asian market, the final picture will become much clear, and hopefully, the Apple iPhone will give Apple and consumers a great functionality.

    Update on June 25, 2008.

Apple iPhone is to be launched in India by Vodafone. To book your iPhone in India, sms IPHONE to 56789. The price of iPhone is expected to be around 25000 + taxes. So get your savings out for this beauty.. 😉

RIM Blackberry Bold 9000 is the deemed Apple iPhone killer, this link says so..

All leading service providers provide GPRS with EDGE connectivity. No wonder that since 2005, most of the phones launched in India already feature EDGE capability. The service has been around for a long time now.

In Mumbai, players providing EDGE networks are Hutch, BPL and Airtel.

Gosh Rs 31000/- means a lot of money…I dont think I would ever spend that much amount on a phone, let it be the most beautiful one, I dont care..

      Hi Guys,

If the price is 31000 and 36000 for 8GB and 16GB respectively, then i am damn sure it will be a flop show for Steve Jobs in indian market.

People in india are not much aware of the latest technology what US people are crazy about, we need a phone with good qulity.. since I phone has got good features like Ipod, multi finger touch.. people are much satisfied with this..

So what i suggest is, give us the basic phone with Ipod and multi touch technology, we do not need the internet device.. we have got so many cyber cafe around to browse.. so if price is 12000 to 16000 deffenetly it will be a good show for Apple in india.

      All the best for Apple..
